Gregory DeMayo, CEO

As CEO of Profit Enhancement, Mr. Gregory DeMayo sets the strategy for the firm and focuses tactically on business development and overall operations management. Since joining Profit Enhancement in 1996, Mr. DeMayo has seamlessly and strategically led the company’s transformation from audit-based function into one of the industry’s first business process outsourcing models for telecommunications expense management.

Prior, Mr. DeMayo’s multi-faceted career spanned positions in accounting, purchasing, finance, auditing, and sales for a Fortune 50 company. Mr. DeMayo holds a Bachelor of Science degree in finance and investments, with a concentration in economics, from Babson College.

John Cataldo, President

Mr. John Cataldo is President of Profit Enhancement for the past 12 years. In this role, he is responsible for management and the future strategic direction of the firm. Since joining Profit Enhancement in 2005, Mr. Cataldo has led the company’s direction from a telecommunications and infrastructure focus to a technology expense management firm. Mr. Cataldo’s vision on how the Cloud would become a large recurring expense item that lacks control and visibility led to the establishment of core subject matter experts and best-in-class Cloud applications to support our clients’ needs.

Prior, Mr. Cataldo’s multi-faceted careers are deeply rooted within the telecommunications industry with management positions at several large communications entities. Mr. Cataldo is a graduate of the Questrom School of Business at Boston University and is an active board member of several private companies.

John Buccola, Chief Technology Officer

Mr. John Buccola is CTO of Profit Enhancement since December 2016. Mr. Buccola broadens the firm’s deep experience in infrastructure management to provide complete visibility and optimization across all technology spend categories. As a former Profit Enhancement client and 20+ year IT veteran, Mr. Buccola spearheads the advisory initiatives across the firm’s portfolio.

Prior, Mr. Buccola was CIO for WASH, North America’s premier provider of multifamily housing services, where he was recognized by MIT and Microsoft for his work in advanced analytics. Earlier, Mr. Buccola held CIO and IT leadership roles at Panavision and Alliance Healthcare. He holds a MBA and bachelor’s degrees from the University of La Verne and is an active board member of several private and non-profit organizations.

Scott Marrone, Vice President – Sourcing Advisory Services, Business Development

Mr. Scott Marrone oversees strategic planning and initiatives, business development, channel sales, supplier management and overall revenue growth. Since joining Profit Enhancement in 2011, Mr. Marrone is responsible for the development and success of the firm’s Connect Program including strategic vendor on-boarding and enablement strategy, product development, client engagement and overall management of Profit Enhancement’s end-user vendor relations. His mission is to enable our customers to access our solutions with ease, while creating a safe and secure ecosystem, long-term support and commitments from our ConnectExperts.

An active industry professional with more than 25 years of experience, Mr. Marrone has worked for Lucent, Avaya (Contact Center), and Global Tier 1 Carriers. Mr. Marrone serves and has served on various technical advisory boards including, Earthlink, CenturyLink, Masergy, Windstream and is considered an industry expert in next generation technologies.

Frank DeMayo, Vice President – Professional Services

Mr. Frank DeMayo leads Profit Enhancement’s professional services group whose focus is contingency-based audit and optimization projects. Additionally, Mr. DeMayo plays an instrumental role in the firm’s sourcing projects. Mr. DeMayo’s career spans five decades and includes positions as purchasing agent, treasurer, and chief executive officer of a global software and systems integration company serving the communications industry.

Brad Venuti, Senior Vice President – Client Operations

Mr. Brad Venuti is Senior Vice President, Client Operations for Profit Enhancement. In this role, he is responsible for managing client service operations for solution implementations, recurring outsourced services, and special, one-time projects.

Prior to joining Profit Enhancement in 2003, Mr. Venuti’s diverse work background includes creating customized IT solutions for business units within IBM. Earlier, Mr. Venuti was project manager for Power Plan specializing in optimizing tax management for utilities, where he successfully integrated an enterprise software application with client accounting policies and business rules. Mr. Venuti holds a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science and operations from The Georgia Institute of Technology.

Kenneth Scourtas, Director of Mobility Services & Service Delivery Operations

Mr. Ken Scourtas is Director, Mobility Services program/Service Delivery Operations for Profit Enhancement. His responsibilities include a complete ownership of Mobility Services vertical and a focus on achieving the Service delivery objectives.

Since joining Profit Enhancement in 2009, Mr. Scourtas has focused on providing process-driven management, 360 program creation, and has transformed the firm’s mobility program into an industry first mover, specifically differentiating Profit Enhancement as a leader in providing B2B Mobility services. Mr. Scourtas’s background includes more than 15 years of wireless industry experience, spanning corporate, government, and non-profit clients of all sizes. Mr. Scourtas holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems from Salem State University, and has earned a Masters of Business Administration degree from University of Phoenix.

Robert Marshall, Solutions Engineering Manager

Mr. Robert Marshall joined Profit Enhancement in July 2017. He brings deep management and technical expertise in infrastructure, systems, cloud, security, and networking. Mr. Marshall uses his expertise to help clients extract the maximum value from their optimization and technology efforts.

Prior, Mr. Marshall was the AVP for Technology at Ventura County Credit Union where he managed all technology efforts including UC, networking, Systems, programming, and core banking operations. Earlier, Mr. Marshall worked as the IT Infrastructure Manager for Panavision. Mr. Marshall holds a MBA, and serves on the board of directors for The Foundation of Ventura County Credit Union.
